    Chagall : la guerre des émotions.

    Après un livre édité sur Poussin plus ou moins raté, je me suis penché sur un Chagall. Le texte, bien qu’un peu compliqué, était de deux auteurs, Sylvie Forrestier, conservateur en chef des musées nationaux de France et Mikhail German, un auteur russe. Je n’étais guère passionné par cet ouvrage et par le personnage central. Marc Chagall n’existait pas dans mon esprit et je restais assez imperméable à sa peinture. J’appréciais nos diners avec Sylvie Forrestier à Paris et avec Mikhail German à Saint-Pétersbourg. C’était l’époque des années 1990.     The life of Marc Chagall was not an easy one. Nor was it uneventful. It was however, filled with enough drama to delight even the most seasoned and skeptical of Hollywood producers.
