    Kunst ist immer als Spiegel ihrer Zeit zu verstehen. Sie reflektiert Bewegungen, bildet Strömungen ab und prägt ganze Epochen. Die gesamte Geistesgeschichte mit all ihren Umbrüchen manifestiert sich in den verschiedensten Ausprägungen der Kunst. In ihr bricht sich aber auch immer wieder das Licht der Kreativität, wodurch Neues geschaffen wird, das wiederum auf reale Ereignisse maßgeblich Einfluss nehmen kann.
