    Le scandale de l’art de Shelley – Pleins feux sur Allen Jones

    Au cours des années 60, Jones a travaillé sur les trois oeuvres d'art qui lui ont valu la notoriété controversée pour laquelle il est connu. Il s'agit de "Chaise","Table" et "Support à chapeau". Ce sont des sculptures qui ont été conçues par Jones, puis coulées en argile, et enfin terminées par une entreprise qui fabriquait des mannequins. Chaque ensemble de trois a été dupliqué six fois, ce qui a été achevé en 1969.

    In den 60er Jahren arbeitete Jones an den drei Kunstwerken, die ihm die umstrittene Berühmtheit einbrachten, für die er bekannt ist. Es handelt sich um den "Stuhl", den "Tisch" und den "Hutständer". Es handelt sich um Skulpturen, die von Jones entworfen, dann in Ton gegossen und schließlich von einer Firma, die Schaufensterpuppen herstellte, fertiggestellt wurden. Jeder Satz von drei Figuren wurde sechsmal vervielfältigt und 1969 fertiggestellt.

    During the 60s, Jones worked on the three pieces of art which gained him the controversial notoriety which he is known for. These were “Chair”, “Table” and “Hat Stand”. These are sculptures which were designed by Jones, then cast in clay, finally finished by a company that made mannequins. Each set of three were duplicated six times, which were completed in 1969.
