Spain is home to some of the world’s most renowned museums, which art lovers from around the globe love to visit. Here are some of the most popular Spanish museums for art enthusiasts:

Museo del Prado (Madrid)

The Prado is one of the most important art museums in the world, featuring a vast collection of European art from the 12th to the early 20th century. It’s particularly famous for its works by Spanish masters such as Diego Velázquez, Francisco Goya, and El Greco, as well as important pieces by Hieronymus Bosch, Titian, and Rubens.

Museu Picasso (Barcelona)

Museo Nacional de Arte de Cataluña (MNAC) (Barcelona)

MNAC is famous for its Romanesque art collection, including vibrant frescoes that were transferred from remote churches in the Pyrenees. It also features Gothic, Renaissance, and modern Catalan art, including works by Catalan Modernist artists.
