Admis à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Vienne dès l’âge de seize ans, ce fut un artiste extraordinairement précoce, dont le talent consommé pour le maniement de la ligne, plus que tout autre chose, conférait une tension expressive à toute son oeuvre.

The Egon Schiele. The anniversary show is due to start in February 2018 with exhibits in Vienna, London, Hamburg and Cologne. It will display the main aspects of his work and his shunning of traditional art practices of his time, break taboos and exploring spirituality through his expressionist form. Depuis une vingtaine d’années, j’ai l’habitude d’aller déjeuner chez Lipp, boulevard Saint-Germain. Voici quatre ou cinq ans, ma table côtoyait celle de Gérard de Villiers, l’auteur de la série SAS. Je le remerciais avec effusion de ces livres que me permirent de voyager dans le monde, de Hong Kong à Léningrad, Bakou, etc. J’aimais son héros le prince Malko Linge. Grâce à lui, j’ai visité Vienne. À vingt ans, découvrir l’ancienne capitale de l’empire austro-hongrois fut un moment exceptionnel d’émotion. In Love … With Myself
Online profiles are essentially shameless self-promotion – things you like, things you do, endless photos of yourself, etc. However, I find when my skinny friends post too many photos of themselves in swimsuits, or newly-engaged friends post endless photos of rings and partners, and my married friends post hundreds of photos of their new babies, I start to feel badly about myself. That’s not to say that I’m not doing cool things or that I want children (Any. Time.
